Pre-Order and Seasonal Harvest Policy

Purpose

This policy explains how pre-orders work for seasonal fruits and how harvest timing can affect fulfillment.

Many fruits offered by our company are rare, seasonal, or grown directly on our farm. Pre-orders allow customers to reserve fruit before harvest begins which means the fruit is not in season if it has the Pre Order label.

Policy Statement

Pre-orders secure a customer’s place in line for fruit that will be harvested during an upcoming season.

These fruits are not immediately available for shipping and will be fulfilled once harvest begins and fruit reaches maturity.

Harvest Timing

Harvest timelines are estimated based on historical seasons and current crop development.

However, exact harvest dates cannot be guaranteed.

Fruit production is influenced by natural conditions such as:

• Weather patterns
• Temperature changes
• Rainfall levels
• Pollination success
• Overall crop yield

These factors may cause harvest dates to begin earlier or later than expected.

Order Fulfillment

Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order they are received once fruit becomes available.

Customers will receive shipping notifications when their order is prepared for shipment.

Delays

In some seasons, harvest delays may occur due to:

• Weather events
• Crop damage
• Lower than expected yields
• Agricultural conditions beyond our control

When delays occur, we will communicate updates to customers via email, please subscribe to avoid missing any information.

Website Availability

When demand exceeds expected harvest supply, certain fruits may be temporarily removed from the website to prioritize existing pre-orders.

This ensures customers who reserved fruit in advance are fulfilled first.

Customer Options

If a harvest delay occurs, customers may choose to:

  • Continue waiting for the fruit once it becomes available
  • Request a replacement fruit of equal value
  • Request store credit
  • Get a full refund with the difference of $10 or 10% (whichever greater) for processing fees

Seasonal Nature of Rare Fruits

Some fruits we offer are extremely rare or produced in small quantities.

Examples may include fruits such as:

• Mangosteen
• Jaboticaba
• Monstera
• Blue Java Banana
• Otaheite Apple/Malay Apple

Including but not limited to the list above

Because of their rarity, availability windows may be short and unpredictable.

Customer Understanding

By placing a pre-order, customers acknowledge that seasonal fruit harvest timelines may vary and that fulfillment depends on natural agricultural conditions.
