I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of the tropical fruit in the well sealed box on arrival. I didn’t know all the names , so I enjoyed reading about the different type of fruit online and ripeness for when ready to eat. Hey, I am starting to introduce a better variety of fruits and vegetables into my diet and though I was excited about the variety box I was also scared but so far so good. Some of the fruits are sweet and delicious and some it takes some getting use to for me because I'm coming off of a American diet so I'm sure as I continue to order and I will I will come to enjoy them all just as much.

The fruit looks very fresh and was carefully packaged. I was extremely happy that all the fruit is seeded. However, the price of the fruit box is a little high for the amount of fruit that you receive. Also, I would like to have the option to pick what seasonal fruit I purchase instead of having it randomly picked for me. Overall, I would say the quality of the fruit and the shipping is great.

This is my first order from the company, and I ordered the Tropical Fruit Variety Box. Let's just say whoever packed it is officially one of my favorite people. :) I must admit I was concerned about a shipment traveling across the country, but everything arrived in great condition. The box contained 13 different items, 10 of which I have never tasted before. What a beautiful array; the picture doesn't do it justice. The (online) Fruit Ripening Guide is invaluable, and every item is delicious. Highly recommend.

I still need to download the picture of the barcode thingy that came with the gift box, to see what / how these beautiful exotic fruits should be eaten. Not sure if it's possible to include an insert with the fruits because a 'tech expert' I am not.
I understand if this isn't a possibility because the fruits can change from season to season. I'll figure it out, if not. I've eaten the banana, the picture is of the small lime/orange-tangerine fruit that I put in my glass water bottle.

For the price I was disappointed, I loved the variety of fruit however most of it wasn't ripe, so because I am not aware of the different kinds of fruit here in Nebraska I cut into all the fruit and couldn't eat half of it. It was a waste of my money. There should be some kind of good in there starting that it might not be ripe, and just how long we may need to wait for each fruit to be ripe. Only because again, I'm not familiar with most of the fruit in the box. The mango however was amazing and the yellow (I think) dragon fruit was amazing.

We received the variety fruit box as promised. It was well packaged and had a good variety of fruits. The only problem was there were at least four of the fruits that were already completely rotten and some had mold starting. I am not sure if this is typical since this was our first purchase. The fruits that were eatable were great so far. Our plan is to purchase again before finalizing a decision on how to actually rate our experience.

Fun assortment! Just got it today. I wish there was an explanation sheet of all of the fruits. I ate two of the dragon fruits - perfectly ripe and delish. And, 3 lee chees (I think that's what they were). Lots of things I have no idea what they are, but look forward to trying.

Great variety of fresh, delicious fruits, however, some of the smaller fruits (eggfruit, June plum) didn’t ripen well (probably picked too early). Overall, I enjoyed the variety and the black sapote was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be ordering again. *side note…the packaging could be a little better as some of fruits arrived smashed, but nonetheless, I ate them anyway

I got this for my bf for V-Day. He said that he really liked the Mangostein and he enjoyed most of the fruit in the box.
However, a couple of pieces of the fruit arrived had mold and were bruised to the point of splitting and there was fungus growing on the ginger which he said transferred to the key limes.

I'm from the Caribbean and have been craving organic fruits from back home for a while. So, I was excited to see I could order these fruits from online. I was even more excited that it was a black owned business. The price is also very competitive.
I gave 4 stars because of the condition of fruits I got and presentation. I got 1 Avocado, some lime, 1 ginger, 1 yellow dragon fruit (so sweet), 1 guava, 1 pomcythey (June plum), 1 sapolilla, 1 black sapote, 1 star apple and some coole plums.
If I could have choosen (I got the variety box) I would have swapped out everyday fruit like lime, Avocado and ginger for more of the other available fruits.
The Avocado looked brown vs green and some of the coolie plums were ripped open. Nonetheless I still think the variety of fruits given was a decent amount for price. (Sale about 50 something dollars).
I think a labeled bag with the separate fruit names on it and eat or store will help for people like me who just don't want to go through looking for the information since the card that comes in the box is general. I ended up cutting the black sapote open before it was ready. And thought the coolie plums were spoiled because they turned red and soft so I threw away about 3 of them. Overall I would buy again but not the variety box. I'll buy a specific fruit. Hope this is helpful.

Got my first iHeartFruitBox order today. Placed my order yesterday and it came at about 11am today! I'm in Orlando. I'm so excited to try everything. You can see I tore that mangosteen up (scraps to the top ) and it was soooo good! I see why Dr. Bobby was killing them on that IG Live. I will have to look up a lot of them b/c I have no idea what they are. ♀️ Already downloaded the ripening guide. I got the small size box and to me this is a great amount and variety. Now I want to just order a bunch of mangosteen. Don't know how I'm gonna open the coconut, but I'll figure it out. 10 outta 10, absolutely recommend!

I recently experienced the Tropical Sampler fruit box from iHeartFruit and was delighted by both the variety and quality of the produce. Beyond getting organic versions of familiar favorites, I was introduced to several fruits I had never encountered before. It felt like opening a treasure chest of tropical flavors, each piece offering its own unique taste and texture.
One standout was the organic dragonfruit. Having only sampled dragonfruit from grocery stores like Whole Foods or Sprouts, I was astonished by how much sweeter and more vibrant this one tasted. It was almost as if I had never truly experienced dragonfruit before. Another pleasant surprise was the oversized avocado, measuring nearly eight inches—far larger than the typical three-inch varieties I’m used to seeing. Its velvety flesh and mild flavor made it a great combo with Himalayan pink salt, olive oil and black pepper.
The box also included a black sapote, a decadent fruit with a rich, creamy texture that reminded me of a well-balanced chocolate pudding that was just right in sweetness and texture.
Speaking of chocolate, the cocoa pod might have been the most memorable item of the entire sampler. Tasting the pure, fresh cacao beans right out of the pod—without any of the usual processing—was an almost transformative experience. The variety alone makes it worthwhile, and discovering how different the flavors can be—especially for fruits like dragonfruit—was truly eye-opening. There were a lot of key limes in my box, my sapodilla came unripe and I didn’t know so cut it and had to throw it away, because it had milk. You know how that goes. There was this other fruit I’m not sure it was green just like the key limes I got a good bit of that as well, and it was great first time trying absolutely enjoyed.
I have my star fruit remain, with one passion fruit first time having that. The black sapote is green as well so I’ll leave that one to ripe. I had a yellow dragon fruit absolutely amazingly sweet. I enjoyed my first box and would love to get a bigger size for sure next order.
