June Plums, originally from the tropical and subtropical regions of Polynesia and Melanesia, are now grown in our very own farm in South Florida we have both the regular and JUMBO varieties!

At iHeartFruitBox, we're proud of our June Plums, also known as Ambarella, Golden Apple, or Pommecythere. The skin of this fruit is thin, smooth, and its texture is crunchy  similar to apples, pears, and even green mango, when consumed green, and is super juicy like a peach when ripe.

As they ripen, these fruits change from green to yellow and then to orange. The flavor can be slightly acidic but becomes sweeter when ripe. The smell becomes more aromatic and citrusy as the fruit ripens as well.
