We have been LOVING the fruit from the box. Some of it came ripe, which we used/ate almost immediately. We used ripe key limes and tree tomatoes in a pico de gallo over chili cheese fries, which was delicious. A small mango, star apple, Asian banana, Colombian Avo, and mamey sapote came SUPER unripe, but I placed them in a brown paper bag with a regular banana and got them to ripen within the next few days, yielding a new fruit each day!
I'm glad the box came with a guide on fruit, ripe indicators and general 'how to's' for how to consume. I was familiar with 80% of the fruits from my time abroad, (and with my friend, a botanist) but never remember the names of things or how/when to eat.
It's been super fun eating some of my favorite fruits again.

I really love that there was a guide that came along with this box because a lot of the fruit I had no idea what they were or how to eat. I definitely recommend starting off with the variety box so you can see what fruits you like and what fruits you don’t like. I’m excited to purchase soursop and the egg fruit. Next I have to try Cacao and Black Sapote when they are in season.

The only thing I have ever had was an avocado from the tropical fruit package that i received, never tasted any of the other fruits except longans. But this avocado was nice and big and very good. The whole variety pack was good. The mamey sapote was very tasty, never had key limes, only limes, so that was good, star apple was tasty. I had never tried a dragon fruit, it was sweet and so was the mango. The egg fruit was different but I enjoyed it. The whole package was fine, only a couple of longans had busted, but sweet and tasty. I had two friends who met me and we opened everything together and shared it. I have a pre-order in, but can't wait to order other specific items like soursop and more avocados. Thank you. Jeri T

Box #2 - 4 of 5 rating my Tomatillo was crushed and half the contents were Longans (???) quire similar to Guineps but aren't. This box really doesn't feel like its worth the price paid. Don't know if these purple ones are grapes this taste is new to me a little on the sour side. The mango really was on the smaller side and tasted less "natural" and more like a forced ripened mango. Waiting for everything to ripen.

Honestly as a caribbean girl, I was expecting a different variety. The box was good, but there were somethings I didn't like. For eg the egg fruit. I'm looking forward to the sapote, which still isn't ripe. And I was hoping for sour sop. It was average for me. I'll still support regardless! Peace and blessings

2 soursops were perfect. Let them sit on counter 2-3 days before opening. Froze pulp of one & ate the other sprinkled with Ceylon cinnamon & key lime

Mangosteen was not as sweet or juicy as I’ve had from my local international grocer. But will try another sampler order. Thinking 2 cold packs instead of 1, because it was melted upon arrival. But Delivery was good … I was home to receive it.

More importantly it would have been nice to get a list of the fruits I received because with the exception of the avocado and cacao, I 've have to look them up because I have no idea what they are. Although I am a fruit eater, I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the box's contents.
Pros:
I loved the dragon fruit, delicious.
The avocado was superb, bananas were delicious.
Tree tomato was good.
Cons:
The mangosteen never ripened, was hard the entire time, I eventually tossed it.
Soursop was overripe with it arrived.
I couldn't determine when the pepino melon was ripe!
Sapote, was not my favorite, I'm not a fan of pumpkin and it taste quite a bit like that. I put it in a smoothie to try to make use of it.
Overall, would I purchase again? Probably not
