Star Fruit scientifically known as Averrhoa Carambola is native to Southeast Asia. Our Star Fruit is sourced locally from farms in South Florida. The skin of this fruit is thin, smooth and slightly waxy.
The Fruit changes from green, to yellow, to orange once ripe. The flesh has a high water content with a crunchy texture. The flavor is slightly acidic with hints of sweetness.
