They way the fruit are packed leads to bruises and I really am upset. I've ordered sprouted coconuts before and it was fine, probably because of the structure of the coconut. This is the first time I orderd fruit that are not in a casing and I thought packaging would take in consideration the type of fruit but I guess not. Would not order again if I am paying a high price for bruised fruit.

The box arrived with various stages of ripeness. None were bruiswd oe damaged. I washed them off, but the water was rather clean. Thanks for the pre-wash. Waiting for rhe final ripening. None were ready for me to eat today.

We tried canistel in Kauai in February and it was delicious. I was grateful that I found your company cuz you can’t buy it local in Utah. I’m Kauai the guide to us through an orchard and the fruit was just barely ripe so the texture was like a boiled egg yolk..a bit dry but sweet similar to a cooked yam If you let it get a little ripe it is like eating a custard. Our guide said to cut off the skin, microwave it with butter and add a little syrup that was good. I actually like it with a crystallized sugar and my husband likes it with S&P and a spice with a kick. Your company has opened doors to us that we would have never tried before…dragons eye, mammy, soppa. I probably spelled some wrong but it is amazing the skin id ugly but the insides have different textures and will taste like mixes of pineapples/pears/mangos etc. in my variety box there was one that looked like a plum and a green one with the same texture. My grand daughter ate the whole thing. I had to fight her for a bite . Anyway try the canistel and other fruits. They are wonderful

I haven't had a chance to taste the first yet but I'm sure like all of the fruit it will be fantastic! The two main reasons I cannot do a subscription: 1. Cost - an example of this is the egg fruit. I ordered the sample box and got three pieces of fruit for $44.99 or roughly $15 each. 2. Fruit will become ripe at the same time. Meaning if I dont eat it quickly or freeze it (which may impact the flavor) it will go bad. On a good note it has encouraged me to look for a local market that carries similar fruit. So for that, thank you.

My surprise when I opened up this egg fruit which I had never had before was over the top! This is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten! Make sure it’s ripe very soft all over before you cut into it. If it’s not ripe you won’t be able to stand how disgusting it is. It’s worth the wait for it to ripen. It is unbelievable it’s sweet with the texture of yes, a hard-boiled egg, but more like a sweet cooked soft chestnut meat. And it’s looks like a yolk and it’s the texture of a cooked sweet potato. Truly amazing!!
